Our “After-Thanksgiving 2010” milonga is happening this Sunday. We have much to thank for this year, i.e.: the greatness of this Country; the health and dear company of our families and friends, and last, but not least, the quality of Tango dancing in Seattle, and its multiple opportunities for enjoyment.
La Garua will continue uninterruptedly during the winter and the holidays, with only one exception: we will be closed on December 26th. Griselda and John are already enjoying their annual visit to Argentina, so Diana and myself (the “alternate team”), have organized the event in partnership with Enrique (Kique) Olvera, and others dancers who volunteered to collaborate with the tiring setup of this usually well-attended milonga. The DJ this week will be Elizabeth Brinton, our friend and upcoming star in the DJ’ing firmament.
We look forward to seeing all of you there. It’s always a pleasure watching the well-oiled functioning of a dancing crowd that respects the codes and navigation of a traditional Argentine milonga, and their preference for the heart-warming close-embrace and the milonguero style.
As usual, all details can be found online at “allSeatletango.com”.
