Beginner’s Tango Lesson with Max Kepler 6-7pm
Max began her study of both lindy hop and Argentine tango in late 1996 and began teaching in 2001. Since then, she has been a regular member of the tango and lindy hop communities in Los Angeles and San Diego, in Oregon (both Portland and Eugene), and in Seattle, Washington. She also taught as an invited guest instructor in Boston and San Francisco, and in Europe.
Max’s teaching style is flexible, playful, and interactive. She carefully tailors private instruction to meet the needs of her students. In group classes she brings students together for a mix of fun, learning, and community-building through humor and skill-building games. She incorporates elements from her training in a multitude of movement modalities (ballet, yoga, Pilates, tai chi, rehabilitative fitness education, etc) to help dance students improve their coordination while keeping their bodies safe and strong. http://dancekepler.com/
