What does it involve being a follower?
At the basic level they are opposites,
at the highest level they are the same.
A workshop on the mechanics and mindset of the leading
role, and the technique and sensory journey of the following
role.

Class is designed for all levels.
Women interested in the leading role are advised to bring
some flat shoes (socks OK).
Cost of workshop: $15 (includes free admission to practica)
The practica will commence immediately after the class.

Originally from the UK, Aja has been exploring the art and technique of Argentine Tango for more than a decade. She makes regular trips to Buenos Aires to refine her skills and deepen her understanding of the dance. Her childhood exposure to Russian ballet has contributed to her graceful understated style. Aja's believes that dancing tango is about creating a physical manifestation of the music and emphasizes the importance of self-exposure and courage in bringing who we are to our dancing through her teaching. Her recent teaching focus has been on women’s leading and men’s following, in order to awaken people to a holistic understanding of the dance. Aja's teaching career has taken her to London, throughout the United States and Australia.
