May Intensive weekend workshop with renowned artists Carolina del Rivero and Ricardo Biggeri from the heart of Buenos Aires.
This is an exciting opportunity to study with two artists who are at the vanguard of the modern Argentine tango. Both Carolina del Rivero and Ricardo Biggeri have danced and taught Argentine Tango for multiple decades at the highest level. And at the same time, they make learning and exploring the dance accessible to everyone from the beginners to the most advanced.
The topics of the May weekend workshop:
Saturday, May 11
1-2:30pm Becoming a better partner: Technique for improvisation, action and reaction, dynamic and flow.
3-4:30pm Sacada fest for leaders and followers. Timing and technique for making them comfortable and effortless.
Sunday, May 12
1-2:30pm Cheek to cheek: close embrace, essentials for the social dance.
3-4:30pm Into the boleos: action and reaction, possibilities and footwork.
$150 for full 2-day workshop, $80 per day, $45 per class,
