We are inviting you to a workshop specifically created for experienced tangueras (women and nb, inclusive) who want to develop their leading skills for the social dance floor.
Cost will be $25
In this workshop you will build your confidence and increase your success in leading tango movements in a warm and supportive learning environment while also building relationships with other tangueras for mutual support and collaboration.
Through learning to lead in tango you will:
* hone your skills of initiation and interpretation
* increase your balance and groundedness
* learn to move with power, assertiveness, and conviction and
* refine your overall dance skills in ways that you never before thought possible!
All students in this workshop must have a minimum of two years experience following in tango as we will not specifically be teaching follower’s technique in this workshop. We will be each working together to maximize our learning of leading technique for social tango dancing.
Our instructor, Max Kepler, has been dancing tango for over 25 years and leading regularly since 2004 and still remembers what it was like to be a beginner leader, longing for a supportive and fun environment in which to learn and improve your leading. Max has been teaching tango since 2007 and specializes in creating a warm and supportive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and collaboration.
