Cellist Gretchen Yanover, www.gretchenyanover.com, her musical performance and recordings feature the electric cello and looping pedal, as well as acoustic cello. Gretchen’s transformational electric cello and looping pedal, creates its own ensemble sound, and provides space for improvising.

Tonight’s performance will also feature tango performers Michelle Badion, Julia Ochs, and Victor Mushkatin dancing to Gretchen Nicole Yanover’s live cello! The piece is called “The Story of an Embrace”

A Seattle Public Schools and University of Washington graduate, Gretchen recently released her 5th album, available on all music streaming sites. As an in-demand solo artist; Gretchen has performed on-stage with actor LeVar Burton for his “LeVar Burton Live Reads Live”. Her commissions and artist residencies include Seattle Symphony and Town Hall.
