About María Olivera
María’s pedagogy is rooted in a holistic vision of tango, for her, tango is not just a sequence of movements, but a language that communicates emotion, connection, and artistry. She guides her students to understand tango as a dialogue between partners, the music, and the dance floor.
With an international career spanning over two decades, María has taught in prestigious festivals, academies, and tango houses across the world, inspiring dancers in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Her expertise is also recognized at the highest level, she has served as a judge in major tango competitions, including the renowned ATUSA in California.
Her classes blend technical precision, musical sensitivity, and personal expression, giving dancers the tools to find their own voice in tango while honoring its traditions.
