SATURDAY 4/4 – The Embrace
12:30pm – Workshop 1: Open Embrace – Expansion & Connection (int/adv)
Explore open embrace through volume and flexibility. We’ll focus on how the arms create a clear and comfortable connection, allowing freedom of movement without losing communication. A short sequence will be used as a practical tool to apply these concepts in motion.
2:00pm – Workshop 2: Close Embrace – Chest-to-Chest (int/adv)
We’ll work on frontality, rolling movement, and feeling at ease using body weight to enhance connection.
SUNDAY 4/5 – Changing Dynamics
12:30pm – Workshop 1: Vals – Cadence, Flow & Musical Comfort (int/adv)
Discover the unique cadence of vals and how to move with fluidity and ease. We’ll explore musical phrasing and natural movement choices that help you feel comfortable, light, and continuous within the circular flow of the dance.
2:00pm – Workshop 2: Tango – Playing with Tempo (int/adv)
Learn how to speed up and slow down with intention. Through two sequences, we’ll explore when and how to change dynamics, how to listen to the music, and—most importantly—how to listen and respond to your partner while dancing.
Cost: $70 per day (or $40 if taking only one class each day).

MONDAY 4/6 – Milonga!
Milonga: Traspie, Syncopation & Cadence (int/adv)
A playful and rhythmic exploration of milonga. We’ll work on traspie, syncopation, and cadence, focusing on clarity, musicality, and confidence so you can enjoy milonga with precision and fun.
