Maxi Copello Argentine Tango Seminar in Seattle
Updated 4/28: Location changed for Saturday and Sunday Seminars
“Maxi Copello Argentine Tango Seminar
& Available For Private Classes”
Tango was an integral part of Maxi’s upbringing, woven into his everyday experiences from childhood. Accompanying his father to theaters, Maxi would sit in the sound booth, mesmerized by the performances unfolding before him. Post-show rituals often involved visits to “Tio Felipe,” a local restaurant, where Maxi absorbed the captivating tales of seasoned milongueros amidst the aroma of pizza and the symphony of laughter. These moments became the backdrop of his early tango journey.
During his teenage years, Maxi’s interests initially leaned towards studying film direction. While tango initially remained a cherished family anecdote, his intrigue gradually drew him closer to the art form. Watching his father’s videos ignited a spark within him, prompting clandestine classes and the gradual abandonment of his athletic pursuits.
Amidst childhood reminiscences, cinematic aspirations, athletic endeavors, and clandestine tango sessions, Maxi’s deepest passion emerged, eventually consuming his life entirely.
